On Thursday, 27th March, some of the team at Inclusive United had the privilege of attending the High Sheriff of Hertfordshire Awards evening—a truly inspiring event celebrating organisations making a difference through sport.
Brilliantly hosted by Annie Brewster, The High Sheriff, the evening was centred around the theme ‘Sport for Good’, highlighting the power of sport and physical activity as a catalyst for social change, health and mental wellbeing, social inclusion, community cohesion, crime reduction, education, and employment opportunities.
Inclusive United CIC were absolutely thrilled to be shortlisted and even more delighted to win a Sport for Good Award. Thank you! This recognition is a huge boost for our organisation and participants as we continue striving to level up opportunities in sport for underrepresented communities.
A huge thank you to The High Sheriff, Herts Community Foundation, Herts Sports Partnership, and everyone involved in making this event so special. We look forward to following the journeys of all the incredible organisations recognised this year.
